I’ll never forget the day that I first really understood what a true struggle was. I was quite young and my brother and I were already home from school in our small apartment. My mom walked through the door and I looked up. She was limping and trying to hold back her tears.
“What happened?” I asked. She explained that she’d stepped on some glass and it went right through the bottom of her shoe, puncturing her foot. About the Author
Sherjuan ‘Sherm’ Brown is a mortgage and financial advisor who specializes in helping people save and invest money. Sherm began his career by selling mortgage loans to veterans, many of whom couldn’t afford the homes that they lived in. Recognizing that there were programs that could help these veterans to stay in their homes, Sherm began providing low-cost mortgage programs to his clients. His mindset was to help as many people achieve their dreams as possible, which would, in turn, help him reach his own. In 2014, Sherm founded Intelli-Vest Financial, LLC.
